SACRAMENTS

Mass

All are invited to join!

Mass is celebrated on campus at 6pm on Sundays during the academic year in Douglas Hall (Room 120). We observe all the university safety protocols to ensure that we are safe as we gather as a faith community.

A team of student sacristans, servers, and lectors, assisted by seminarians, prepare for the celebration of Mass. If you are interested in serving as a sacristan, server, or lector, please contact our Liturgy chair Cameron Humes or hunewmanclub@gmail.com.

We also enjoy fellowship and free food(!) after all the Masses. We would love for you to join us!

Confirmation

(RCIA/Catechesis)

We have an RCIA program (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) for anyone who needs their Sacraments of Initiation. Additionally, anyone who is interested in learning more about the faith or “Catholic curious” can join our RCIA classes. We are blessed to have religious sisters from the Sister Servants of the Lord and the Virgin of Matera (they wear blue and gray habits) coordinate our catechesis and RCIA program.
They meet every Sunday before Mass at 4:30pm in the Carnegie Building.

Read about Trinity Ijoma and her spiritual journey! Trinity received her sacrament of Confirmation this past Easter 2023.
